I just got home from Reach International School. I spent the afternoon viewing student exhibits, lining up at food booths, and shaking hands with children and their parents.

Not my typical Sunday at all. Surprisingly, I had a blast!

I’m so thrilled to bring home two paintings.

"Well, You Can Always be a Clown" by Grade 10 student, Gemma Therese Uy. Oil Pastel. 11x 14.

I spotted “Spark Jeepney” the moment I entered the room. I immediately inquired how I could get hold of it only to be told that the parents of the painter will be buying it.

Upon checking the name of the painter, I realized that I had just met her parents a few minutes ago. So I looked for them and asked if I could buy the painting instead. And they said yes! Yay!

Patricia Juliette Tolentino and her masterpiece (which I now own, hehe).
